As of 22 May 2008 SkyDrive was initially available in 38 countries and regions, later expanded to 62. Shortly thereafter, on August 9, 2007, the service was renamed Windows Live SkyDrive and made available to testers in the United Kingdom and India.
On August 1, 2007, the service was expanded to a wider audience.

Yet, you can hide it to stop OneDrive from syncing. In some versions of Windows operating systems, OneDrive is built in and can’t be uninstalled. When the current syncing is disappeared, you can reinstall OneDrive. Don’t worry, this won’t delete the data on your OneDrive cloud. Or, use the stupid way to uninstall OneDrive to stop it from syncing. Without the Network connection, none file transfer task could be carried out. Indirectly, to stop OneDrive from uploading or downloading, just cut off the network connection of the device.
